Microfiltration membranes separate particles or colloidally dissolved suspensions. The pores are in the range of approx. 0.05 to 10 \u00b5m.<\/p>\n<p>Microfiltration is characterized by the tangential overflow of the membrane, which is called cross-flow filtration. The water is therefore not pressed directly through the membrane, but flows over the membrane.
