The European XFEL is a new research facility. The laboratory buildings will be equipped with water treatment systems from EnviroFALK.

The X-ray laser XFEL currently under construction at DESY in Hamburg will create new research opportunities that are unique in Europe: With the extremely short, intense and laser-like X-ray flashes, molecular and atomic processes can be filmed and snapshots of atomic details in materials and biomolecules can be produced. Research is carried out in very different fields such as physics, chemistry, life sciences and materials research.
