In particular, water consumption and the associated operating costs were to be significantly reduced.
The two washing machines, one from the new TPS production line and the other from the existing insulating glass production, were to be supplied with a central water treatment system. In addition to excellent water quality for optimum rinsing and washing processes, a chemical-free and environmentally friendly solution concept was required. In particular, water consumption and the associated operating costs were to be significantly reduced.
After extensive consultation, a central two-zone pure water circulation system with reverse osmosis was designed to supply the glass plate washing machines on both production lines. For a chemical-free approach, the pre-treated water is desalinated using the reverse osmosis principle. Treating the used water from the main wash zone for reuse in the pre-wash zone is much more economical than treating the water from scratch.
