Convotherm planned to treat the water for the combi-steamers even more efficiently, both in the in-house test kitchen and in quality testing, and contacted the experts at EnviroFALK on recommendation. In addition to long-term appliance protection and a stain-free cooking cabinet, the costs should also be noticeably reduced.
EnviroFALK developed an all-round solution for this. The GAHOtech drink water treatment system not only ensures comprehensive system protection but also a spotless cooking cabinet. Unwanted substances are removed from the drinking water, preventing scale, clogged nozzles and pipe blockages. Reverse osmosis is used to remove almost all salts, microorganisms and tiny particles from the tap water. The integrated storage tank also extends the life expectancy of the membrane by 40 %. In addition, the operating costs have been significantly reduced, as there are no regeneration costs compared to the conventional approach with decarbonization cartridges.
