X-ray free electron laser XFEL: Pure and ultra-pure water preparation for laboratory equipment
The X-ray free electron laser XFEL currently under construction at DESY in Hamburg will establish unique research possibilities that are new and unique in Europe: using the extremely short, high-intensity and laser-like X-ray flashes makes it effectively possible to not only film molecular and atomic processes, while simultaneously photographing atomic details in materials and biomolecules. Research will be conduced in a wide range of areas such as physics, chemistry, life sciences and material science.
EnviroFALK won the contract to equip the laboratories at the research institute with water treatment systems to produce pure and ultra-pure water. In addition to the central water treatment unit, they also equipped the laboratories for sensitive applications with decentralised pure water systems to produce high-purity water.
