EnviroFALK acquires AQUAlab
Water technology business pursues sustainable growth strategy
When it comes to water treatment systems for industrial applications, hospitals and laboratories, EnviroFALK, which now has over 400 employees, is pursuing a course of steady growth. With its acquisition of AQUAlab, located in Höhr-Grenzhausen, just 30 km away from the company headquarters in Westerburg, the water technology specialist is strengthening its market position in Germany and Switzerland.
About AQUAlab
AQUAlab develops, manufactures and supplies water treatment systems for industrial and medical applications. Its production focuses primarily on compact and standard systems, an area that is also reflected in the EnviroFALK product range. Over and above this, AQUAlab also develops innovative reverse osmosis controllers for real-time monitoring of all operating parameters.
Using water intelligently
Peter Leyendecker, director of EnviroFALK, claims: “With our acquisition of AQUAlab, we have gained 25 highly trained specialists, experts who are dedicated to shaping the future of process water technology with us, so that our customers can use the valuable resource of water sustainably for their wide range of processes, because that is our DNA: using water intelligently.”
EnviroFALK water treatment systems
Water is a particularly important resource in the course of industrial production processes, but hospitals and laboratories also need specially treated water for complex applications. EnviroFALK manufactures water treatment systems for the production of process water, pure water and ultrapure water for a wide range of industries at its headquarters in Westerburg.
When it comes to sustainable use, the solution lies in recirculation, although this depends on the area of application. Pure water recirculation systems reduce water consumption, enable the recycling of valuable resources, and reduce the amount of wastewater as well as cutting energy consumption.
The product portfolio is complemented by a comprehensive range of services, such as ion exchangers for water demineralisation, which are processed after exhaustion using state-of-the-art regeneration systems and returned to the cycle.
