EnviroFALK goes for augmented reality in customer service
Want to keep both hands free for tools and "real work", but still receive support from colleagues in the back office? The new augmented reality goggles make this dream a reality. What started out as an idea at EnviroFALK in June 2020 is now almost the norm: The collaboration between the EnviroFALK service technicians and their colleagues in the back office made possible by AR glasses.
Augmented reality support saves time and money
The benefits are clear:in case of technical questions about repair or maintenance work, the service technician can contact the back office via a video link using specially designed hardware. Technical questions can be clarified quickly remotely and the service technician receives context-specific information in next to no time thanks to the real-time visualisation. Augmented reality support saves time and cuts the cost of travelling, paving the way for a new type of virtual collaboration.

“Especially now, with business trips and on-site meetings with customers only possible to a limited extent, the use of AR glasses reinforces our belief that the digital transformation is a key item on our digitalisation agenda, especially the fact that we can now react quickly at any time, even in unforeseen situations”, says Maximilian Lehre, who is responsible for digitalisation and special projects at EnviroFALK.
