\EnviroFALK expands PtX water treatment solutions up to 100 MW\\

\Leverkusen, August 28, 2026:\ As electrolyzer and Power-to-X projects increase in scale, the demands placed on water treatment systems are also growing. Scalable, standardized solutions that can be deployed internationally and efficiently integrated into a wide range of project environments are increasingly required. At the \Hydrogen Technology Expo\ 2026, taking place in Hamburg from October 20 to 22, EnviroFALK will present a significantly expanded product platform for supplying ultrapure water to electrolyzers.

The focus is on the further development of the EnviGreenPURE PtX product range. While the platform previously covered applications up to 5 MW, the portfolio now also includes solutions for electrolyzer capacities of 20 MW, 50 MW and up to 100 MW. This provides operators, plant manufacturers and project developers with a scalable system concept for a wide range of hydrogen and Power-to-X projects.

The quality of the water used has a direct impact on the efficiency, availability and service life of electrolyzers. EnviroFALK develops water treatment systems tailored to the specific requirements of hydrogen production, ensuring a reliable supply of ultrapure water. The solutions are designed for various electrolysis technologies, including alkaline electrolysis (AEL), anion exchange membrane electrolysis (AEM) and proton exchange membrane electrolysis (PEM).

By expanding our EnviGreenPURE PtX platform, we are creating the conditions required to implement projects ranging from 2.5 to 100 MW on a common technological basis.\\” explains Lukas Preyer, Sales Engineer and Head of Hydrogen & Power-to-X at EnviroFALK.

The modular system concept allows the solution to be adapted to different raw water qualities and site conditions without having to develop an entirely new system for each individual project. For international applications, the systems can, among other options, be designed in accordance with DIN or ASME requirements and configured to meet CE or UL specifications. This facilitates standardization and the global roll-out of larger hydrogen projects.

In addition to expanding its product portfolio, EnviroFALK will showcase a water treatment system with an integrated digital system architecture at the trade fair. The combination of IO-Link sensor technology, cloud connectivity and a digital twin enables cross-site access to system and process data. Operators and service personnel therefore benefit from a transparent overview of operating conditions, diagnostic data and maintenance information.

The concept is complemented by a digital documentation platform through which operating manuals, certificates and service information can be provided specifically for each individual system.

By combining scalable water treatment, international configuration options and digital service functions, EnviroFALK is addressing the growing requirements of large-scale hydrogen and Power-to-X projects worldwide.
